That Winter, The Wind Blows

24 April 2013

 Song Hye-Kyo.

And if that isn't enough for you, just add crushing, bittersweet, and vengeful drama to this powerhouse of a Korean drama about a blind heiress and a conman pretending to be her long-lost brother (of course, seeking to gain only money) and one of the highest budget k-dramas done of all time. I do admit it is the most beautifully shot and edited dramas I've seen. The quality and color sets are really pastel-like (except for the violent, gang scenes) and pleasing on the eyes, but don't take away from the actors themselves at the same time.

The drama itself unfolds quite nicely and though there are lulls in certain parts of the storytelling so that more characters can be fleshed out to make the story work, you really just want to see the main two characters fumble around with each other whether in hatred or in love and jump to the next episode.

Not gonna give away any spoilers but I fully enjoyed this one to the max and if you are looking for a quality K-drama, here's one for 2013.

[[Kim Bum is also in it!]]
